Snow Day!

Today we had a snow day...the first of sorts for Beckett.

Last night we had thunderstorms, then sleet, then snow.  The accumulation wasn't that great, maybe 2-3 inches, but the sleet made the roads slick and then we had strong wind gust making visibility difficult.  So a work from home day it was.

This was what the living room looked like about 11:30am!  I was trying to answer emails, phone calls and instant messages for work.  Meanwhile, Ryan called letting me know his flight home was canceled and the next available flight was Saturday - great!  The dog was barking cause the mailman was ringing the doorbell and the TV was blaring cause Beckett was pushing buttons on the remote..AWESOME!  P.S. Beckett is somewhere in the photo above...can you find him? 



Lunch with Mommy - chicken nuggets, mac'n'cheese and green beans - YUM!



So sleepy after lunch was falling asleep drinking my milk!

 And the best part of our snow day?  The snow of course!  Now it was WAY to cold to take Beckett outside, so we brought the snow inside instead ;-)

But you know playing in the snow is always more fun with a friend...enter Gus.

And about 10-minutes later this is what we were left with...

A huge mess, but YOLO (You Only Live Once) Right?  It was well worth the mess.  So for the remainder of our snow day we will just be hanging out at home and anxiously waiting for Daddy to get home.  Since the next flight available to come home wasn't until Saturday he's driving.  Praying he stays safe and arrives home before too late!
